Alliance Players Use of Racial Mounts in World of Warcraft

A racial mount is a pet that becomes permanent to the players once a character obtains it. There are a wide variety of mounts that be used by Alliance players in WOW. Normally a character has to reach a special level and obtain the required riding skill that is required with the pet. The specific pets are though of as a status symbol and the give a higher level of functionality to the character that possesses it. If a character is travelling by mount, moving from one location to another is very quick. If a character has a mount in WOW, the pet can be called or dismissed whenever the need arises. This article will introduce you to the different racial mounts that are available to World or Warcraft player that are playing on the Alliance side.
While playing WOW on the Alliance side, the racial mounts that can be purchased are Nightsabers, Rams, Horses, Elekks, and Mechanostriders. When on the Horde side the racial mount options are the Skeletal Horses, Raptors, Hawkstriders, Kodos, and Wolves. It is possible to incorporate one of these mounts into the pet inventory, depending on which race you are playing. To acquire the mounts you will have to have a specific reputation or will have to reach a specific level. Once your character has reached the level that makes it possible to obtain a mount, you should absolutely buy the mount. You will notice that your overall game is enhanced because you will gain respect from other players and have greater speed.
If you have elected to play a Draenei while playing World of Warcraft on the Alliance side, you will be able to obtain an Elekk. You will have to be at a minimum of level thirty if you want to acquire this racial mount. To obtain an Apprentice level riding skill, the cost will be 35 gold. The cost of the mount itself is 10 gold. The speed of any character that rides this mount will have a 60% increase. However, once level sixty is reach the speed of the mount will increase by 100%. The riding skill that is need of this racial mount is 150 and will be a Journeyman. This particular mount costs 100 gold.
For a human Alliance character, a racial mount of a Horse is available. This can be acquired at level thirty and costs 10 gold. This, too, provides a speed increase of 60%. One may choose the Pinto, a Chestnut Mare, a Black Stallion, or a Brown Horse. When the human character reaches level sixty, they may purchase a horse mount that provides a 100% increase in speed levels. It will cost 100 gold, but it is well worth the investment. One may choose from the Swift Palomino, Swift Brown Steed, or the Swift White Steed.
For the Gnome characters, the racial mounts that that can be acquired are the Mechanostriders. The Mechanostrider racial mount costs just 10 gold once the Gnome has reached level 30 and will cost 100 gold when level 60 is reached. The speed of the mount will increase by 60% at level 30 and will increase by 100% at level 60. The Mechanostriders that are available when the highest level is reached are the Swift Yellow Mechanostrider, the Swift White Mechanostrider, and the Swift Green Mechanostrider.
Playing on the Alliance side of WOW as the Night Elf will give the chance to purchase the Nightsaber racial mount. This can be purchased once the Night Elf reaches level 30 for the price of 10 gold. This is for the mounts itself, but the riding skill that is needed will cost another 35 gold. The Night Elf can choose a Riding Spotted Frostsaber, a Riding Striped Frostsaber or the Riding Striped Nightsaber. Once the Night Elf gets to level sixty the options change; He can choose the Swift Forstsaber, The Swift Stormsaver, and the Swift Mistsaber.
If playing World of Warcraft on the Alliance side as a Dwarf character, a Ram racial mount is available once the specific requirements are fulfilled. Once level 30 is reached, the Dwarf can select a Brown Ram, a White Riding Ram, or a Gray Ram. This racial mounts will cost 10 gold and the riding skill will cost 35 gold. Once you are at level 60, you will have to pay 600 gold to acquire the riding skill needed to ride this mount. Additionally, you will have to pay 100 gold for the mount itself. At this level a Swift Brown Ram, Swift Gray Ram, or a Swift White Ram can be chosen.
Every avid World of Warcraft player will understand how important it is to work toward the goals of obtaining a mount. There are other mounts available in addition to the racial mounts. Players can obtain class specific mounts, a variety of specialty mounts, and flying mounts. Earning one of the many available racial mounts will help you gain the respect of others while looking great. It also makes it really easy to move from one spot to another. It should be easy to see that there are plenty of racial mounts available to WOW Alliance side players. Of course there are other types of mounts available. In addition to the racial mounts there are flying mounts, some class specific mounts, and a wide variety of special mounts. As an avid WOW player you will clearly understand the importance of working towards the goal of obtain a mount. Not only will you look great, but the other players will have respect for you. Additionally, you can move from one place to another with ease.
